What is Qigong?

This ancient Chinese practice is based around the concept of mastery of energy. Encouraging the body, breath, and mind to work as one. Often performed in a series of standing movements and poses, Qigong is meant to channel energy throughout the body, moving in very deliberate, fluid motions that command your senses to work together.

Dejia Harmony has highly experienced instructors that can guide you through these unique poses, teaching you choreographed movements that can be blended together for smooth and fluid transitions of energy. 

How Does Qigong Work?

The main aspect of Qigong is connecting the physicality of your muscles, with the direction and awareness of the mind, all while timed by deep, continuous breathing. When done correctly, you can enter a state of flow, moving with intention and synergy. 

This practice is an excellent way for your mind to achieve bodily awareness, teaching your mind to understand the space that your body occupies. Qigong requires a dedicated effort, but the results are incredible. Some of the benefits include:
